My Blood Ties Matching

The primary service of the My Blood Ties, International Adoption Registry, is that of matching members of both sides of the adoption equation: that is, the birth parent(s) and/or family and the actual child(ren) and/or adopting family. We do this through elected membership in our data base. This process allows you a choice to be found and matched or not. The matching process is based on the child's birth-certificate information. The details we collect are basic information that should be known by both parties. The greater the detail, the higher the probability of a match. (For example: date of birth, gender, race, hospital name, city and state, and time of birth if known.)  

 

Our system checks for possible matches both at sign-up and several times each day. When a match is identified, the system will dispatch an e-mail to both member parties. This e-mail will serve as notice of a possible match. You will then be able to log into the Web site and send confidential internal messages to the other member. This secure arrangement allows both members to ask questions, share information and decide mutually on the next step. Members may later agree to further exchange information and communicate outside of our secure Web site. We are here simply to match possible family members only—at no time will we surrender your information. We leave that to your discretion.

 

Once a successful match has been confirmed, a location in the member area will record the match in the system. We always welcome news of a successful reunion and would like to use this news—always guarding your privacy—as an encouragement to other members.

 

We have reviewed many other sites that claim to provide the same kind of service. When you join these registries you are authorizing them to place your personal information on their websites to be viewed by anyone browsing through their listings. Our stance is that doing this opens everyone listed to potential predators. We feel that having the database closed to prying eyes and giving you the control to communicate with potential matches allow you the best protection. We NEVER disclose your personal information. Again, only you can disclose your personal information to a potential match. 

 

 

 

 

Newsletter
When you sign up for membership and inclusion in our data base, you will be given an opportunity to join My Blood Ties’ mailing list. A newsletter will be sent to you when there is new information on the site and services or when there is information that we feel may be of interest to our members. This is purely optional.

Secure Live Chat
We have included Chat facilites in the members section of the website. Once a member you can log in, join the chat in the lobby or any other rooms. Should you desire, you can even hook up a microphone and webcam and use the audio/video capabilities. Our chat is secure, members make a username whenever they log in and our chat is only usable by our members. This is a great tool to use after a potental match is made or for general chats with other members. You can even create you own room.

 
Joining the Family

Joining our international adoption registry  data base is a conscious step in an emotional decision to find the missing pieces of your life. We each have our own reasons in wanting to find those pieces. Private investigators and other search organizations often charge considerable fees and promise you the world. We offer My Blood Ties’ matching service for only $24.95 a year. We remind you that the service does not necessarily guarantee finding your match, but we do make it more efficient and effective to make a national and international search. Our data base originated in the United States and has expanded to an international system, since adopted children (or their birth parents) often move out-of-state or abroad and many now are adoptioned internationally. For most only and international adoption registry can assist with any hope of reuinion.
